I have a 99 jeep cherokee so I have that ugly fading vinyl on my back and front bumper and the trim on the sides. In the past I have been washing my jeep and all the trim, let it dry completely, and used Armor All wipes to darken the trim and keep it "protected". then the Chrysler dealership told me that Armor All protectant actually makes it fade faster in the long run..... okkkaaay..?

My brother used some good black spray point for his trim, but I was wondering if there were any other alternatives.

I forget what the stuff is called, but most auto parts stores carry a type of polish that is specifically for black rubber or plastic trim. It goes on and rubs off like regular car polish, but without the white powdery residue.

OMG, dont spray Paint!!! do alittle research. there are light buffers you can use and a restorer to use... Try Mothers "Back-To-Black Plastic restorer"
