Why does the radiator light keep coming on in my mazda diesel van (RFdiesel)?

I have a 92 mazda van with a rf diesel engine and my radiator light keeps coming on. It is not losing any water or overheating. The cooling system has been pressure tested and is fine......... Definitley no leaks. the light doesn't stay lit, only comes on periodically then goes off. One thing I have noticed is the radiator water is never full in the radiator itself but is always fine in the resevoir. Would flushing it solve the problem??. Could it be a build up of dirt on the sensor?? I have tried everything else and ruled out anything major I think. It is not really causing me any major problems as i've done a few hundred k's today, just hope it's nothing too serious. any suggestions??

The radiator should be full. The sensor is detecting that it isn't. You've either got an air lock or a tiny undetecable leak. Top it up (at the rad not the expansion bottle), keep an eye on the level at regular intervals. I suspect it will go down and in time the leak will show it's self.
