Why is my car making this noise? Its a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix?

When I first start it it whines really bad...seems to be when I press on the gas...not when I turn the wheel...also sometimes I turn the key to start it and it dies...and not just once...sometimes 3 or 4 times...it only has 39000 miles...I get regular oil changes...its really strange to me

u may,have one of ur acceries goin out on the front of ur motor,the most common is the serpentine,belt tensioner,it will make noise,and if bad enough,can make ur motor die out at low speed or idle,,to checl it run the car for awhile,then shut it OFF,then just start feeling the front pullies of each accerie,like the steering pump,alternater,ac,tensioner,,if u got one thats warmer,or hotter than the the rest,,,tthen u have found ur problem...
