Would a Mazda RX-7 be a good car to race with?

I can either get a Mazda RX-7 with 33,000 miles on it for $19,500 or a Toyota Supra that has 82,000 miles on it for $17,000. I'm probably going to have to buy the Mazda because I keep getting told that 80,000 miles on a car makes it too old. Would the RX-7 be able to achieve around 600hp when modified?

well this is a good question. personally i think i'd get the supra. and not cause i like the looks better, but cause i understand the engine a lot better then i do the rotary motor that mazda used in the rx7. plus 80,000 miles on a toyota is about the same as 40,000 miles on a american car.

as far as looks go, they both look awesome, but i'd go with the rx7s looks

both the rx7 and the supra would be able to make a ton of hp with bolt ons. they both have a good sized aftermarket.

you really cant make a bad decision here. both cars are quite good
