Today is a big day for fans of Mercedes-Benz. The flagship S-Class Coupe’s had its roof removed to create a Cabriolet. That makes this the fourth S-Class variant, and for history buffs, the first convertible four-seat flagship from the German company since 1971. Mercedes-Benz is quick to point out that design was one of the most important aspects with creating this new convertible, and for the most part I think they did an admirable job. To be fair, after creating the stunning S-Class Coupe the only direction they could really go is down, but regardless this new Cabriolet is quite handsome.
