It isn’t much of a secret that believe in winter tires around here at AutoTalk.com, so we are excited to announce a new program through Mopar that will set up owners of certain Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep owners with a proper set of winter rolling stock.

If you are the owner of a Grand Caravan, Charger, Town & Country, 300, 200, or Cherokee, you can head to your dealer to order a special Mopar winter assembly that includes a set of steel wheels, matching winter tires, and a full set of TPMS sensors. If your particular car isn’t on this list, have no worries, FCA says they are expanding to even more cars next year. Currently, these products just cover the largest percentage of buyers who FCA believes would be interested in the upgrade.

Pricing ranges between $242 and $292 per wheel for the entire assembly, including mount and balance. All you need to do is put your car up on a jack and swap the wheels over. It’s as painless of a process as you can expect when buying winter rubber. Of course, if you don’t want to get your hands dirty, you can have your dealer install the tires as well. Tire brands available include Bridgestone, Goodyear, Yokohama, Pirelli, BF Goodrich, Michelin and Continental. If you live anywhere that sees snow, or even regularly cold temperatures, a set of winter tires should be on your to-do list.
