For years, Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has held its headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Even though they are going to stay in the same city, they announced that they will build a new complex for their HQ. It will be built in the “Aerotropolis Atlanta” development site near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and will be able to hold 400 employees. There will also be a Customer Experience Center with a road coarse to show-off products. And to undoubtedly have some fun at company picnics.

Detlev von Platen, President and CEO of PCNA said, “our new American headquarters will allow us to finally bring together all our major sales, after sales and financial services capacities, thus making us an even stronger organization.” PCNA sold sold over 25,000 cars in 2010 which was a 33 percent increase over 2009. This move, which is expected to be final in 2013 should help Porsche jump even further up the American automobile market. “It [the new HQ] also sends a strong message to our dealers and our customers that we believe in the strength of the U.S. market and its future growth,” said Platen.
