Roush Industries Inc. makes propane conversion kits for the utilitarian Ford E-Series vans, other wise known as the Econoline. Ford and Roush are recalling a select group of 2007 through 2011 propane converted vans for faulty fuel rails and injectors. According to the claim filed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the fuel rails included in the conversion kits contain improperly seated injector retention clips. This would cause a propane leak, which if near the ignition system could cause a vehicle fire.

The recall affects certain 2009 through 2011 E-150s, E-250s and E-450s as well as a few 2007 through 2011 E-350s. So far, 286 vans have the potential to be in trouble and are being recalled. Roush is in the process of contacting owners to remedy the issue. They will replace the retention clips free of charge.
