Chrysler Group LLC announced a special sales event that has coined the month of September, “Ram Power Days.” During the event, special incentives will be offered for most Chrysler brands, with the most notable belonging to the Ram Trucks. Potential buyers of any 2011 or 2012 Ram Truck will be given the option to upgrade to the legendary Hemi V8 at no extra cost.

The 5.7 liter Hemi can easily transform any Ram Truck into a hot-rod work horse. With 390 horsepower and 407 lb-ft of torque, now is the time to purchase one of the best engines to come out of modern-day Detroit. If a buyer decides not to upgrade (the Ram Truck we tested earlier did average 14 mpg), they will receive $1,000 Engine Bonus Cash if they stay with either the 3.7 liter V6, 4.7 liter V8 or the 6.7 liter Cummins diesel.

“Only on occasion does Chrysler Group offer this exceptional opportunity to purchase a new Ram pickup truck equipped with the legendary HEMI V-8 engine at no extra cost,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales for Ram Trucks.
