Nissan has a new concept car and it will blow your mind. The Nissan Sport Sedan Concept was unveiled at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, and it previews a very exciting future for the Japanese company.
Nissan says the car is nothing but a design concept that was created to help showcase some future design decisions, but one thing should stand out immediately; this is a sedan. Nissan only makes one sports sedan, the Maxima, so it is very feasible to think that we are looking at concept version of Nissan’s flagship four-door.
When the new Maxima bows, it is very unlikely that it will look exactly like this machine, but if Nissan can keep a lot of the shape and design ideas going forward, the Maxima will easily be one of the best looking cars in the segment. As a bonus, Nissan will likely be moving this design over the rest of the lineup. Can you imagine a GT-R with a similar design direction?! Talk about amazing posters for the bedroom wall.
