Making its debut as the fourth new vehicle to be launched by Ford this year inside the Philippines is the 2013 Mustang. Joining the crew of Focus, Ranger and Explorer is the iconic sports car which will be offered in two variants. Customers will have access to both the smooth 3.7 liter V6 and brawny 5.0 liter V8 and while a few bits and pieces from the U.S. spec cars may be missing, the Philippines version will surely be just as iconic and loved as any other Mustang in history.

“The introduction of the iconic Ford Mustang follows our ongoing commitment to continue bringing world-class vehicles to the Philippines,” said Randy Krieger, president of Ford Group Philippines. Order forms for the Mustang are open and owner deliveries will take place in September of this year. Both the Premium V6 and Premium GT are being offered and both cars come with HID lighting, newly finished wheels, leather interior and glass roof. Even the novel Pony Lighting Package that illuminates the Mustang’s calling card on the ground upon unlock will be present. What won’t be is the six speed manual as all Philippines Mustangs will be fitted with the six speed SelectShift automatic.
“We‘re confident that the Mustang will be an immediate and long-lasting success in the Philippines, attracting many new loyal customers who will be absolutely thrilled to own this fantastic car,” said Krieger.
