Nissan North America Inc. has dropped the price of its 2013 Nissan Frontier in the U.S.

For the Frontier S King Cab 4×2 with inline 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission, the new reduced starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $17,990, a reduction of $1,270 over the similar 2012 model.

The Frontier SV Crew Cab is priced $23,990, a drop of $1,450 compared to the 2012 SV Crew Cab.

The Desert Runner model is priced at $23,760 for the King Cab and $25,010 for the Crew Cab model.

Another key change for most 2013 Frontier models is fuel economy, which has increased one-to-two miles per gallon due to reduced engine friction and enhanced aerodynamics.
