The Swedish invasion continues with Volvo’s do-all wagon the XC70. The XC70 has been a very popular choice with campers, hikers, and other adventurous types. Its smaller profile and ample space made it ideal for trekking into the back country.

Volvo has always done wagons well, and it must feel that it has the XC70 right because changed for 2013 are very minimal. The standard rain sensing wipers and headlight washers found through the rest of the lineup are included on the wagon along with the standard Tunnel Detection. 3.2 equipped cars have an optional 17-inch “Valder” alloy wheel design. No new colors have been announced for the XC70.

Pricing starts at $33,450 and heads north towards $50,000, with a top trim T6 AWD Platinum coming in at $44,800 before the $895 destination fee.
