Students from a Los Angeles non-profit called Get Lit were recently invited to the White House for a day of poetry put on by President Obama and First Lady Michelle. The 10 selected high school kids were obviously excited but they needed a way to get to the most powerful house in America. That is where Buick stepped in and offered the students two Enclave luxury crossovers to make their trip.
“These students represent a terrific example of our next generation of leaders and their celebration of human achievement is truly worthy of our support,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick sales, service and marketing. It’s always nice to see an automobile manufacture reach outside of the industry to help out in other areas. It is also nice to know that those lucky 10 students made the trip in the ultimate comfort other wise known as the Buick Enclave.
