Chrysler has issued a worldwide recall on roughly 469,000 SUVs due to a circuit board sending faulty signals to the gear shifter, placing the vehicle into neutral.

The recall affects 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2006-2010 Jeep Commanders. Chrysler will fix the issue by updating the vehicles’ computer software.

Out of the 469,000 vehicles involved in the recall, 295,000 are inside the United States.

In a separate issue, Chrysler is recalling 532 Ram 1500 pickups due to faulty windshield defrosting and defogging components. Only the 2013 model year is included in the recall with one third of those vehicles still remaining on dealer lots.
