Chrysler LLC will join the club of auto manufactures who built a owner-specific social media outlet. In order to do so, they have made the decision to work closely with Ignite Social Media to build a in-depth media agency that caters toward Chrysler owners. Founded in 2007, Ignite builds media relations in a different fashion, bringing together staff members from numerous departments and listens to everyone’s thoughts and ideas.
“Social media continues to play an integral role in our marketing and advertising efforts as it connects each brand directly to their consumer and enables us to develop a relationship with them,” said Olivier Francois, President and CEO for Chrysler Brand and Lead Executive for Marketing of Chrysler Group LLC. Francois went on to say that social media sites that have interaction and user-controlled information allow for a quality experience. Customers who given the opportunity to voice their opinions and ask direct questions while in comfort are more likely to participate in social media.
