Clarion Corp. of America president Matt Matsuda will retire March 31 and will be replaced by Tom Hayashi, Clarion’s current U.S. sales executive VP.

Matsuda has been president for nine years and has been with the company for more than 32 years. He will stay with the company for a year as a special advisor and help with the management transition, the company said.

Matsuda called the current year “one of the most successful in our history.”
