Audi’s U.S. division will be getting some new bits of advice and guidance in the form of a new president. Formerly the Chief Marketing Officer at Audi of America, Scott Keogh has been given the high-ranking position effective immediately. The automaker will utilize Keogh’s expertise and all-out love for Audi in order to get closer to its overall goal of becoming the world’s leading luxury automotive brand by 2020.

“Audi has demonstrated remarkable progress in recent years. There is much work to be done in a highly competitive segment of the auto business,” said Keogh. While positioned as Audi’s Chief Marketing Officer for the U.S., the new president was heavily responsible for bringing more TDI Clean Diesel variants across the pond. A fan of Audi performance, Keogh also headed the strategy to re-introduce the RS line up to the U.S. that will include the upcoming RS 5.

“Gains in the U.S. are truly a strategic pillar for the brand and we are confident that the leadership provided by Scott Keogh will continue the momentum at Audi of America,” said Rupert Stadler, AUDI AG Chairman and CEO.
