Central Florida might be best know for its many theme parks and “family style” vacations complete with long lines, silly hats, and spinning tea cups.
But one company wants to change that perception. Florida Adventure Vehicles (FLOAV) is a brand new start-up company whose goal is to outfit visitors with outdoor gear and 4x4s – pointing them to the many natural resources and outdoor activities offered by the region.
FLOAV has customers begin their adventure by selecting either a Toyota FJ Cruiser or Toyota 4Runner, complete with four-wheel-drive and all the gear needed for an active vacation.
The gear ranges from surfing, to biking, and camping equipment – all of which FLOAV rents per day. A technology package is also available which includes a mobile hotspot, two GoPro HD cameras, and two handheld Motorola radios.
Vehicle rentals start at $109.95 per day for the FJ Cruiser and $139.95 for the 4Runner. The Adventure Packages are $59.95 per day and $49.95 for the Tech package.
