Often times, it’s the little things that make something special; the small details that bring an otherwise boring object to life. That’s exactly the case with the 2013 Nissan NV200 cargo van.

For those folks whose office is located behind a steering wheel, those small details can really add substantial value. Things like a low-level load floor with integrated tie-down hooks, ergonomically placed switches, or a passenger seat that doubles as a picnic table can make the workday more bearable.

The NV200 has little Easter eggs like this in spades. Perhaps one of the most innovative features is the rear doors. Nissan found that most van owners use only one rear door for most tasks, so they made one door bigger. The right rear door is larger, accommodating larger items without needing to open the left door. It also keeps the left door from intruding into passing traffic while it’s swung around the van’s side.

The cargo floor is also large enough for a standard pallet and is capable of being loaded and unloaded with a forklift. Further forward in the cabin is a simple yet intuitive instrument panel with an optional infotainment system. A hanging file folder cubby and dedicated clipboard holder help round out the package.
