The beautiful Jaguar F-Type made its US debut at the LA Auto Show. Jaguar decided to be nice, and brought a new Jag that hadn’t been seen yet. The F-Type in question is a V6 S wearing Firesand orange paint and new “black” packs.

The car is meant to demonstrate some of the many ways the F-Type owners can customize their vehicles. The bright orange paint is a special order option and the black packs represent interior and exterior options. On the exterior you will find black grille surrounds, side vents and those sweet black and carbon fiber wheels. The package is only available on cars painted Ultimate Black, Polaris White, Italian Racing Red, Rhodium Silver, Grey and the above Firesand orange. The interior of the car sees black added to the flat-bottom steering wheel, interior trim and bezel rings. The black packs are available on V6 S or V8 models only, with the V6 being the exclusive recipient of the black rear diffuse seen in the gallery below.

Jaguar design chief Ian Callum had this to say about the car: “For me, good automotive design should be about creating excitement, so being here in LA to witness the positive reaction… is very satisfying.”
