What happens when Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts get together and throw their respective parts catalogs at a Jeep Renegade? You get the Jeep Renegade Commander, a concept that is less concept and more a Jeep you can build right in your own driveway.

Two inches of lift, 17-inch Rubicon wheels and 29.5-inch BF-Goodrich All-Terrains give it an altitude adjustment, while off-road rock rails and skid plates protect the custom Fluorescent Gray paint job and underbelly. A Mopar trailer hitch receiver and auxiliary lights add a bit more utility to the sport.

Jeep didn’t show us the interior, but they assure us that it features Katzkin seat covers, body color bits and bobs, all-weather floor mats and a Mopar off-road kit.

The Renegade Commander is still driven by the standard 2.4 liter MultiAir engine and 9-speed automatic transmission, though there’s a bit more presence added by the modified exhaust.

This is the only 2016 Easter Jeep Safari concept that is less concept and more catalog, and as such, our vote for most likely to be found in the local supermarket parking lot.
