Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz is recalling new A-Class models to fix a safety fault, Bloomberg News reports.

In case of an accident, the front passenger airbag might not inflate properly.

The recall affects around 6,000 cars, which were produced between June and December. Most of the vehicles were sold in Germany.

The company will fix the cars free of charge.
