Hyundai is putting the finishing touches on its brand new testing facility located at the infamous Nürburgring race circuit in Germany.

Once the test center is completed in August, Hyundai will begin their “accelerated durability tests” that replicates years of hard use in only a few short weeks. They hope to complete testing on 11 models by the end of 2013.

The facility itself is four stories tall and includes workshops, offices, and a VIP hospitality area – all wrapped in a glass and metallic finish on the exterior.

Luxury and performance automakers are no strangers to testing on the Nürburgring. In recent years, however, more mainstream automakers have taken to the track to hone their vehicles on the high-speed, technically challenging course.
