Nissan’s U.K. unit has frozen its all advertisements on Facebook because of offensive content on the social media site, Automotive News reports.

The New York Times reports that Facebook has been facing pressure from feminist groups to ban pages that glorify violence against women.

According to Nissan spokesman David Reuter, advertisements have been stopped until Facebook can guarantee that the automaker’s ads will not appear on pages with offensive content.
