Nissan recently hit a milestone as sales of its fully electric, zero emissions LEAF surpassed 4,000 units. Since its launch in December 2010, the LEAF has been an automotive industry star and is currently the only, fully electric mass-produced consumer vehicle available. In order to celebrate the accomplishment and further the knowledge about the LEAF, Nissan is restarting and expanding its “Drive Electric Tour” to 26 cities across the Nation.

“As the Nissan LEAF gains momentum in its U.S. rollout, more consumers have expressed the desire to get behind the wheel and experience gas-free driving for themselves,” said Jon Brancheau, vice president, Marketing, Nissan North America. The tour initially began last fall, before the LEAF was fully available to the public. As it begins again, Nissan will travel from city to city with LEAFs so consumers can experience first hand what it is like to drive a car that emits nothing from its “tailpipe”. Nissan sales reps and experts will be on hand to answer any questions potential buyers might have and test drives will be readily available.

Check the full list of cities and dates to see if your town will get a visit from the Nissan LEAF. Also, make sure to visit https://www.drivenissanleaf.com/Default.aspx to sign up for a test drive.
