Nissan announced the pricing for its 2014 Nissan Versa Note, which goes on sale this month.

The new 2014 Nissan Versa Note S will have a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $13,990 (excluding a $790 destination fee), which is $680 less than the 2012 Versa Hatchback.

The Versa Note S Plus model price starts at $15,240 and Versa Note SV at $15,990.

Each is equipped with an advanced 1.6-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine with dual fuel injection and Twin Continuously Variable Timing Control System (CVTCS).

The Versa Note S features a 5-speed manual transmission, while the S Plus and SV models are equipped with a standard next-generation Nissan Xtronic CVT transmission.

Fuel economy for the front-wheel drive Versa Note is 40 mpg highway and best-in-class 31 mpg city and 35 mpg combined for CVT-equipped models.

Other equipment includes Nissan Intelligent Key, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors and 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
