When 500 hp just isn’t enough, there’s always the 550 hp 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. The German automaker squeezes another 50 ponies out of their twin-turbo 4.8-liter V-8, improving tack times and bragging rights.

The exclusive SUV will now hit 60 mph from a standstill in 4.3 second on its way to a top speed of 175 mph. Adding to the emphasis of Sport within the Sport Utility Vehicle nomenclature, Porsche equips the Cayenne with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

Expect the Cayenne Turbo S to grace the showroom floor starting in spring 2013 for a healthy $146,000, which doesn’t include the $975 destination charge, of course.
