As if winning the Super Bowl wasn’t enough, the MPV player of the game, quarterback Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens was awarded a 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray from General Motors on Monday for his efforts in leading the Ravens to a 34-31 victory over the 49ers Sunday night.

The Corvette was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a New Orleans Chevy dealership that was hit hard during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They quickly rebuilt to become the first business on the East side to reopen after the devastating storm.

Banner Chevrolet recorded one of the largest losses ever when storm waters destroyed 650 new and 120 pre-owned vehicles. The dealership has recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation to its facility and was being honored by Chevrolet for their resiliency.

So as the Ravens celebrate their Super Bowl win, Flacco can celebrate by hauling his new Pete Rozelle Trophy made by Tiffany & Co., around in his new Stingray Corvette. We just hope he tightly secures his trophy so any shenanigans (like 0-60 mph sprints in under four seconds) doesn’t result in broken memorabilia.
