Toyota is recalling about 125,000 older Avalon cars to fix a problem with airbags, reports The Detroit News.

The airbags can inadvertently deploy, according to the news report.

The automaker is recalling 119,000 2003-2004 Avalon cars in the United States and about 5,000 around the world after a report of a minor burn injury in the U.S.

No crashes or deaths have been reported, the company spokeswoman said.

Toyota said “certain circuits within the airbag control module may be susceptible to damage if exposed to electrical noise from other electrical components” and the front airbags and seat belt pre-tensioners could inadvertently deploy.
