Due to an increase in demand for Volvo vehicles such as the new S60, XC60 and V60, the Swedish manufacture is looking to expand its production capacity. They are now on the hunt for an additional 600 employees for the Swedish plants in Gothenburg, Olofström, Skövde and Floby, and also to the Ghent plant in Belgium.

The plant in Olofström, which specializes in body components, is wanting an additional 200 members of staff by the end of summer. The Gothenburg plant is anticipating an increase in vehicle production from 52 cars per hour to 57, so they are looking for an extra 250 staff members. The engine plant in Skövde as well as the brake plant in Floby are wanting an extra 75 employees. Belgium’s plant is looking to hire around 100 people as well.
