Volvo Car Group is now also developing self-driving cars and in their very first project they are planning to build 100 such vehicles.

This project will be started from 2017. The Chinese-owned automaker are calling this “the world’s first large-scale autonomous driving pilot project,” which will allow the car to be tested on 30 miles of selected road and car will have all the driving functions and another driver will also be available for occasional controls.

Autonomous driving is possible thorough computers and camera equipped in cars but it is still a long way to go because of some technical and legal reasons.
