Jalopnik reports that Volkswagen recently issued a stop-sale order to dealers in United States.
The automaker asked dealers to stop selling some 2014 models due to transmission problems.
According to the memo, Volkswagen issued an immediate stop-sale on Jettas, Passats and Beetles with the 1.8T engine built after February 1 equipped with automatic transmissions due to “potential risk of the transmission oil cooler leaking,” Jalopnik reports.
It is still not clear whether Volkswagen will make a recall.
