Among the entire Acura line up, one vehicle stands out in a way that might not be so positive. Perhaps overlooked and even forgotten, the ZDX crossover shares its suspenders with the solid-selling MDX but uses a much bolder design statement. While the MDX is a standard, the ZDX with its slopping back and long overhangs has yet to capture the market like its more conventional siblings. In order to boost its numbers and prove that Honda isn’t a company that gives up, the Acura crossover will continue on living but do so with a refresh for 2013.

At the end of the 2011 model year, just 1,564 ZDX models found buyers which, according to Autoblog.com, made it the fourth worst selling new vehicle in the U.S. Even though the car has only been on the market since 2010, its refresh is already planned in hopes that buyers will take notice. According to Acura’s press release, changes will be made to the exterior styling as well as its technology check list. When the new version goes on sale in October of this year, it will be offered in one,”value-added” package to make buying easier.
