On April 19th, BMW announced the “BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS” models to mark their centenary. These special, limited edition models will be extremely rare, as only one hundred of them will be made. 100 years, one hundred cars, get it? Of those 100, only five BMW Individual 7 series will be available to the US Market, each of which will be the BMW Individual M760i xDrive Model V12 Excellence THE NEXT 100 YEARS centennial model. [Could they have thought of a longer name? Ed.]

This particular luxury barge will sport a turbocharged, 6.6-Liter V12 pushing 610 horsepower, allowing for a dash from zero to sixty in just 3.6 seconds.

As for the car itself, I dare say that BMW has never made anything quite so exquisite in terms of luxury and appearance. The car will come standard with 20-inch light alloy forged wheels, bespoke exterior paint, fine-grain full Merino leather trim, and 2-axle air suspension including automatic self-leveling and Dynamic Damper Control.

How would one know if it’s a true BMW Individual 7? The cup holder cover has an inscription that reads your vehicles specific model’s build number. Because nothing says ultra-exclusive luxury quite like engraved cupholders. The interiors of these cars are like no other, and surpass every definition of elegance. White leather can be found throughout the interior, in such places as the door handles, seats, armrests, door panels, the center console, and even the upper and lower parts of the instrument panel. The black leather dash and steering wheel, black trim, and the piano black interior strips give a nice contrast that pleases the eyes and can make the youngest child to the oldest senior say “ooh” and “aah”.

Along with the purchase of your BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS car, you can expect an exclusive gift brought to you from Montblanc and BMW. You get a custom pen that is the same color as the exterior of the car that features a woven structure to mirror that of the cars seat patterns, and the rhodium-plated, Au750 gold Montblanc nib bears an engraving of the unique backstitching also found on the BMW Individual Merino leather seats.

These models will be available near the end of the 2016 year, but I assume if you don’t already have your name down for one, you won’t be one of the five lucky owners.
