Chrysler has issued two new recalls involving about 31,000 vehicles, reports The Detroit News.

The automaker is recalling full-size vans for electrical problems and SUVs for software issues. The recall includes 21,000 2014 Ram ProMaster full-size vans to inspect and possibly replace electrical components that support propulsion, air bag deployment and external lighting, the newspaper said.

In addition, Chrysler is call back 10,700 SUVs to upgrade software that governs their cruise-control systems. The recall covers 2014 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Cherokees, Grand Cherokees and high-performance Grand Cherokee SRTs assembled between Jan. 16 and April 17.

Chrysler is unaware of any related injuries or accidents in either recall.
