General Motors (GM) plans to build a $258 million data center in Milford Township, Mich., The Detroit Free Press reported, citing documents submitted to the municipality.

GM requested a tax abatement to construct a 100,000-square-foot data center at its sprawling Milford Proving Ground campus, the newspaper reports.

The township will held a public hearing on March 20 to consider the 12-year tax abatement.
