The 2012 New York Auto Show has been invaded by a company that doesn’t make cars, but it is a company that makes cars better.

The company in question is none other than the Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli. The official tire manufacturer of Formula1 was on hand to showcase some of its new wares as well as introduce people to the many cars that now come standard wearing Pirelli rubber, such as the all-new SRT Viper, and the 2012 Porsche 911.

Pirelli’s booth not only featured stands displaying their new and updated tire line, but they also had the black and gold Lotus F1 car that Kimi Raikkonen piloted during the 2012 season.

As a final piece to the tire extravaganza, Pirelli had set up two simulators so that show goers can race around the new Circuit of the America’s track that will host an F1 race in Texas.
