The battle between the all-American pony cars has been raging ever since the 1960s. The Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro have all fought the good fight and now they have all been brought back for a new-age rematch. This means that the big three have to step up their game almost monthly to stay competitive. Chevrolet has done just this by releasing the 2012 Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition.

A true collector’s Camaro, the 45th Anniversary will feature unique graphics, new tail lights and fog lights, brand-new 20-inch wheels, and special interior bits such as seats and gauges. The trim will be available for both the V8 SS and the new, high-output 2LT 3.6 V6. Also new for 2012 is the FE4 suspension package for the top-dog SS. Featuring large 23 mm front and 24 mm rear stabilizer bars and re-tuned dampers, it should make the SS even more competitive against the other pony cars.
