Despite the grim news concerning Ford Australia’s manufacturing, the well doesn’t appear to be drying up as this Ranger-based SUV was captured roaming public roads in the land down under.
The Australia website Carsguide reports the new SUV is believed to be a three-row big brother to the Ford Territory with seating for seven passengers.
Power would likely come for the Ranger’s 3.2-liter 5-cylinder turbo diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic and stout 4WD system.
Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely Ford’s new unnamed SUV or Ranger pickup will find their way inside the U.S. anytime soon.
