General Motors has named Alicia Boler-Davis as senior vice president (SVP) of global quality and global customer experience, reports Detroit Free Press.

Boler-Davis had been serving as vice president of global quality and vice president of U.S. customer experience.

She will now report directly to CEO Dan Akerson.

Her promotion comes 15 months after she earned the U.S. vice president of customer experience role. She was previously manager of GM’s Orion Township plant.
