Effective July 1, 2012, a man by the name Johan de Nysschen will take over as senior vice president of Nissan Motor Company in charge of the Infiniti division. For the past 19 years, Nysschen has been working as the President of Audi America and before that, he was employed BMW. Needless to say, the South African educated car guy knows his way around the luxury vehicle and will surely bring some extra class and charm to an already stylish premium automaker.

“Johan is a highly successful global luxury automotive executive and his leadership of Infiniti will be a key factor in realizing the potential of the Infiniti brand,” said Andy Palmer, Nissan Motor Company’s Executive Vice President in charge of Infiniti. Nysschen will be stationed at Infinti’s recently opened and all-new headquarters in Hong Kong. While there, he will assist and oversee operations regarding product planning, business strategy, marketing communications and new vehicle development. With his help, Infiniti is looking to expand its market share heavily in the near future.
