In order to determine the Total Quality Index, Strategic Vision polls owners to measure their vehicles for initial quality, overall satisfaction, willingness to praise the brand, future purchase intentions, and even the emotional attachment to the vehicle. For the 2011 survey, 37,069 consumers were polled who purchased 2011 model year vehicles.
