Lincoln’s waning popularity in comparison to its Ford parent is incredibly obvious when you look at the show booths of both companies. While Ford has a huge and sprawling empire of models of various shapes and sizes from the sporty models like Mustang, GT and Focus RS, to the more mundane and usable like Escape and F-150 that show off its breadth, Lincoln features less than a half dozen machines.

The long-standing Navigator and MKC stood proud in the show floor, but the real reason for the floor space was the introduction of the all-new MKZ. As Lincoln’s best-selling model, they are quite excited about the unveil, but it left most of us wanting. The new 3.0-liter turbo V6 engine is interesting, but the new visual design is boring and plain.

For my money, the best part of the booth was seeing the mighty Continental concept car in person. If there is a single car that can rescue the reputation of Lincoln, it’s that one.
