Apple’s iPad is becoming a true success story, selling 4.69 million in the second quarter of the fiscal year. In order to take advantage of this success, Subaru has built an app for the iPad to help out their customers. This could significantly reduce the amount of paper used to make brochures and vehicle handbooks, further reducing Subaru’s carbon footprint.

“Car shoppers are researching everything from financing to auto insurance on their mobile devices. Making these apps available gives car shoppers a convenient and interactive way to explore Subaru vehicles and technology, and it also aligns with our environmental efforts,” said Alan Bethke, Director, Marketing Communications, Subaru of America, Inc. The app will cover everything from model trim simulators, demonstrations of Subaru’s capability and model overview videos. The app covers all Subaru models and are available for the iPad and iPad2.
