Subaru of America unveiled its new 2015 Legacy at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, reports The Detroit News.

According to the automaker, the new Legacy is more stylish sedan that will help the company continue growing in 2014. Subaru plans to unveil more new vehicles this year.

The new Legacy will arrive in dealer showrooms this summer. It will get 26 mpg city / 36 mpg highway / 30 mpg combined and it “matches or exceeds fuel economy of some midsize models that come only with front-wheel drive.

The 6-cylinder model also sees fuel economy improve by 10% or more, with new estimated ratings of 20 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 23 combined,” according to Subaru.

The 2015 Legacy has a sleeker, coupe-like profile and a “nosecone” front section that combined the grille and bumper into one smooth piece. It’s aluminum hood reduces weight over the front wheel. The new Legacy has a 10% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency contributes to lower fuel consumption.
